REDEMPTION – my second release – drilling down the style from what I had learned from the first release, and for the goals I set after that. In writing for this CD I concentrated on a style that’s somewhat like Vangelis meets Enigma on steroids (mix in some Pink Floyd also!). The problem is a lot of people haven’t heard of either Vangelis, nor Enigma. Clue – Vangelis wrote the soundtrack for the movies Blade Runner and Chariots of Fire. To cut a long story short, this music seems to do well in the European market, although it’s style that is still developing, and it’s starting to pick up on the US market also. I’m still working on how to better market this one – all ideas gratefully accepted.
